In theory, this should allow you to shoot at slower speeds handheld and still get acceptably sharp pictures. As Eric wrote, some people love them, others dislike them. I use them on my M6 and M3. One disadvantage is that you will get some pictures of the inside of your camera bag if you usually cock the shutter and put the camera in the bag. You will either have to accept this or get used to NOT cocking the shutter before putting the camera away. The best way for you to decide is to buy one.
