small world - i had the same problem also (and only) with the micro
nikkor 55 - i first  thought, it could be humidity, because the "wet
apperture blades" came in winter, when i left my camera equipement
from time to time over night in the cold car and then brought it into
warm rooms... warning: i tried, to "repair" the problem by myself -
and destroyed the lens...  :-((
