My favorite small lens is my 45mm 2.8 Nikkor. Known as a pancake or
blitz lens or a lens cap that shoots pictures. It stops down to f32 and
you can machaniclly link the f stops with the focusing so you can use
manual flash automatically. It was my first lens for my first Nikon
twenty seven years ago when I was still in school. I still have it and
use it on an FM I keep for the purpose.
