	Come on, photo historians: wet our appetite !

	A Sonnar, at the time, certainly had that
	"je ne sais quoi" that bespoke of a commitment
	to total excellence, probably years ahead of anything non German.
	YET: what were the LEICA offerings like, in HCB's lifetime,
	compared to the Carl Zeiss designs then available,
	certainly not lemons ("dogs"?), by any standard.

	The Summicron 50mm would then have been available, no?
	I wonder why it would have been "not enough" for HCB ?
	Or was it considered "chic" to "mix and match" ?
	I'm not all that LEICA literate and sure would appreciate
	anything you'd care to tell.
