To add, I have a M2R with S/N about 200 less than the Ebay one.... it came
from Florida, along with the KS15 case, DR Summicron and cassettes
appropriately marked for Government consumption.  The case shown looks like
mine, but mine is also government marked.  Tha camera is NOT marked M2R...
it is marked M2, just like the one on Ebay.

Looks authentic to me, but you need to look at the bottom of the inside of
the chassis.  Engraved plate showing how to load film = probably authentic.
No plate, not authentic.    Check the wax seal also.

 According to Lager, "Leica illustrated history, vol. I, p. 200-201". These
 M2's occur between serial-number 1163150 and 1163770.
