Ernie, I have never shot this film at 3200. What I typically do is back into
the ISO rating based on the volume of light and the minimum shutter speed that
is needed for the subject. The lense that I use determines the slowest
shutter speed that I can get by with. If I am using a lense with a focal
length less that 50mm I can typically hand hold the camera at 60th second or
less. If it is a longer focal length I will not risk a shutter speed less
than 125th. Therefore, in all of my shoots the lighting has been adequate to
use a lower ISO rating.

The formula that I typically use that works for me is to set the ISO at 80% of
the manufacturers suggested rating and process at 10 to 20% less than the
recommended times. I use Xtol exclusively therefore, if I were using this
film I would set the ISO at around 2600 and process in Xtol stock solution at
68 degrees for 5 minutes and 55 seconds. This is a starter time but I think
you would be in the ballpark. Depending on how you agitate and temperature
accuracy adjustments to this time may be indicated.

This is a beautiful film and regardless of the ISO you settle on you will be
pleased with the result. Unlike TMax it is very forgiving. It is the opinion
of Erwin Puts and Nathan Wajsman that the film works best in the ISO 1200 to
1600 rating. I have shot about a dozen rolls of this film and I concur with
their findings.

Best of luck and please let me know how it works for you.
