Tmax is a different story. Sufficient time in the fixer will take out that pink stain. I have often had to refix client negatives which had been processed by minilabs in modified c41 processors with too-short fix times in order to print them. Refix and rewash those negatives. You can do it in room light, allowing you to see when the pink stain goes... - -At 09:21 AM 2/18/1999 -0700, JeffS, you wrote... >Most of that purple/pink stuff used to come off in the prewash, until I read >the instructions that came with my Jobo and realized I wasn't supposed to be >using one with Xtol and Tmax! > >Since that time, I've produced a couple of pinkish rolls of film, which >coincide with the time I attempted to re-use Kodak Hypo Clearing Agent for a >second batch (following 7 minutes in ordinary Kodak powdered fixer).
