Older type roll films have anti-halation dye applied to roll films which
come off in the developer, or pre-wash if you do that. 35mm "equivalents"
have permanent dyes in the base which do not wash off. Tmax is a different
story. Sufficient time in the fixer will take out that pink stain. I have
often had to refix client negatives which had been processed by minilabs in
modified c41 processors with too-short fix times in order to print them.
Refix and rewash those negatives. You can do it in room light, allowing you
to see when the pink stain goes...
