I had the I contacted John one time to ask to do a review of "Listen to the Trees." Not only did he say yes, he sent me a pre-publication copy (no cover yet) and when I returned it with the clip, he liked the review so much he sent me a signed poster of "Mythic Forest, Yosemite National Park." The picture of the tree in fog near the back of the book. My favorite. He is a real nice guy.
