Ilford Universal Rapid Fixer, diluted 1 part concentrate with 3 parts water

Fresh leaders in TriX clear in less than a minute. TMax takes slightly
longer than a minute, though it is more difficult to assess when fixing is
complete because of the remaining reddish-pink film colour after fixing.
Doubling the time during film processing gives a safe margin to insure
that fixing is complete. The strip test timing is a reliable way of
checking to see if the fixer is being overworked. If the time to clear the
leaders gets longer, it's time to replace the fixer.
