If he uses a single focal length on a single body, only "that" frame line will ever show. The M2 only has single frame lines. 35 for a 35mm lens, 50 for a 50mm lens, and 90 for a 90mm lens. They only come up one at a time, to match the lens. So I'm confused about what you wrote below??? The complete rangefinder can be exchanged for an M6 "cluttered" finder, but it doesn't sound like what he has. Sounds like he has a standard M2 and lens.
