With the M2, I rewind my film in 40 sec flat. There is only slight resistance as you roll the rewind knob between your thumb and index finger. I have seen the add on and I still prefer the M2 as it is. The old M2/M3 rewind knob is a fine piece of craftsmanship which gives character to the old Ms. Dan K.
