Subject: [Leica] Leica got workout today/Nikon crash

I had a perfect opportunity to use my Leica M4-2 today as I had to
photograph a theater production for work.  I used 800 speed fuji print film
at the normal rating.  Exposure was 1/250 @ f2. Negs turned out really fine.

However as I was leaving the play, that #@$%@!!! adaptall mount on the 300mm
f2.8 tamron I also had caused my F3 with a motor to unmount, crash onto
asphalt.  Yikes!!

It will need a trip to Professional Camera Repair in NYC.

It will need a right hand side top cover, a new on off switch and a new
motor drive battery compartment latch.  Fortunately, my employer will pick
up the tab as it was used for work.  WHee!! I get to save my repair funds
for my M4 overhaul!!!!

At least the Leica was safe in its little bag.........laughing with glee at
the Nikon.......
