Subject: [Leica] Camera lenses as enlarger lenses

Normal focal length LTM camera lenses can be used directly on Focomat and
Valoy enlargers. The 50mm Elmar is a good enlarging lens at f11, and has a
commendably flat field. Leica, in their product literature, recommended the
50mm Summicron for large format prints. The Summicron lens they recommended
was the six element successor to the 7 element Summicrons. I have not had
the opportunity to try this combination. Have any of you tried it, and
would you share your findings with the LUG?
