According to the Leica Pocket Book, general production ceased in 1966 at number
1158995. In addition, during 1967-68 a further 43 olive green M3s were made
(for the German army), carrying numbers 1158996-1159000 and 1206962-1206999.
With those, you are talking real rarity.
