I bought a Bogen 3036 and a Arca-Swiss B2 = ball-head with quick release. This is my mount for a Fuji GX680III which = needs a solid but finely adjustable mount. The Bogen is a tad heavy, but = I padded the legs so I could throw it over my shoulders. It can extend = well over my head before I raise the center post and the legs open up so = I can get about a foot or so off the ground. The Arca-Swiss is = phenomenal! Its so darn smooth! Just set the ball tension so it moves = without dropping the load on it ( max~90lbs.).=20 I've heard real good things about Really Right Stuff, who make a lot of = enhancements for the Arca-Swiss head.
