I am traveling to Singapore today and should I care whether the flight I am on is a Boeing or Airbus? I am an American working for a German company in Hong Kong; so my status benefits the economies of three countries via sales revenues and taxes. For better or worse the "economy" is fast becoming more and more globalized. The "country of origin" in respect to any product means a lot less than it did even five years ago.
