Subject: Re: [Leica] 39mm FLD Filter??

Looks like this particular one was something they never made in the first
place. In my B+W catalogue (now that I've found it and looked this one up!)
they don't list that filter but only 10-M, 20-M and 40-M. The people I
would ask, when all else failed, would be SRB Film Service of Luton, UK,
phone +44 01582 572471, fax +44 01582 572535. They do a lot of custom
filters and adapters for pro requirements of various kinds and would know
if such a thing could be found or made specially.

The B+W catalogue does list a magenta 2-stop "F-Day" filter (no 499) in 39E
mount, under "Special filters". Now I can't remember whether the Leica 39
filter thread is 39E or 39 ES. I always just asked for 39mm.
