APS is much more successful and sponsored by the major manufacturers with
film, processing, and cameras.  New films are also better and a smaller
format makes for a smaller camera which people seem to prefer.  Kind of like
Leica did more than 60 years ago.

I'm curious.

Is the APS format more or less successful than the 126 and 110 formats
when they were released?
