The Titanium finish is basically cosmetic. Most agree it's magnificent, no question. However, would you be my customer, i would rather try to impress you with the flexibility the TTL function now affords the LEICA M system, EVEN if you have not had PAST experience with such. TTL is especially impressive with multiple flash situations, letting the photographer concentrate on the creative dimension, as LEICA's TTL circuitry is very predictable, very dependable. TTL measures the quantity of light DURING the exposure and cuts off the flash when the right amount of energy has travelled through the lens, delivering perfectly exposed shots time after time. You now have to choose if you want a 0.85x viewfinder... ( I would). Use the extra $100 to treat your life mate to a fancy & romantic Valentine's Day dinner !
