We chatted for a while but I neglected to see what lens he was using with it although I did notice that there was an auxiliary viewfinder on the body. Early this afternoon a couple came into a cafe in Patan where I was having coffee and both of them were carrying Leica M bodies. I didn't get close enough to see exactly what they were though. Normally Leica is not well represented with the tourists as they seem to favour something with electronic everything and the biggest zooms that you can find. I know that I should be in the darkroom processing the backlog of film from my trip out but the weather has just been so great that I couldn't stay inside - perhaps it is time to invest in a Jobo. The nights are cool now and there was frost on my solar panels this morning but the days are nice and warm and you can walk around without a jacket. Ian Stanley Kathmandu, Nepal
