In a word- NO, maybe, depending on how extensive. John Van Stelten at The
Focal Point can repolish lenses, and clean them of the creeping crud that
can affect the images more adversely than most cleaning marks! He did an old
Elmar for me, and it looked, and worked, like new when he finished- give him
a call
