Yes, you're right, Lucien. Fulvio Roiter used R and M gear.
I have 3 books : "vivre Venise" which received "Le grand prix du livre
photo 1978" in Arles. Pictures mainly made with a R3 and a summicron 50.
The quality of reproduction is tremendous.Like you, when I saw these
pictures, I begin to dream about a Leica.
The second book, "Lagune de Venise", is remarkable too.
The third, "Fulvio Roiter photographe", is my prefered because he explained
how he "shot", with which lens, etc.He showed the back-office. See, for
instance, p.55 the little african girl and the old man. Great !
