I, too, am a former UPI stringer. Did it for two years helping to pay my
way through J-School. I really enjoyed doing wire service work for a while,
when my financial needs were few. But it's a tough life to work for AP
these days, and UPI is no company to work for now.

Of course, the jokes were fun.

Like you can't have Stupid without upi. Or UPI: Unpaid photographers
International. :-)

Forget the AP jokes. Nothing much funny about what they're doing now.
