This is a huge camera but fits my hands well. I understand you have an R7 also. Why did you feel obligated to pick up an R8? Would a second R7 have been a good choice? You are doing travel photography and do not need the complicated flash from the R8. I am interested in getting an R7 specifically for lighter travel and the ability to use a motordrive. I would like to know what your thoughts are on the camera and why you are choosing to return to the R8.
