Bill,

I also would like to know what the 14406 strap is. Looked at the price list,
but couldn't find it there.

I am using a wrist sling very similar to those belonging to the Rollei 35.
It is attached to one strap lug of the camera by a metal ring.
Don't know the make of my sling, found it on a camera show.
This sling is more convenient for quick shooting and allows taking
the camera out of my bag and stowing it away more quickly than
the neck strap which I don't use anymore.

However, I am still not completely satisfied with the simple sling.
My idea for a strap is something similar to the short leather strap
that came with the Leica R3 winder. This strap goes just around
your hand. Such a strap could be attached to the strap lug on
one side and on the other end to a metal screw that fits into the tripod
thread. Haven't tried this yet.

Regards,

Gerd
