Sometime I´ved looked to the Tamarkin offers at their homepage and I found them about the same level compared to used Leica stuff in german stores. But I don´t know whether the Tamarkin prices includes VAT and Citytax or some other strange US-Taxes or not. The areas Cologne/Düsseldorf and Rhein/Main (Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz) are the best places for attractive Leica stuff in Germany I know. I cannot say something about the near places to Straßburg (for example if you cross the Rhein to Offenburg or Freiburg) but I guess they were more expensive.
