Of course there is going to be a drop in R sales. The R8 was in its second year, so the initial flurry of buying them is over (which was not surprise to Leica according to the report) and there were lots of people telling people not to buy R8s because some of the cameras had QC problems. Couple that with the crash in Asia, and guess what?
