As I understand from my old days in the music world that supposedly Bechsteins had the more "ergonomic" key action. (This is from a person who played a 11 foot concert grand of one. ) My violin teacher had a very nice Steinway in his studio. 9 footer I think. But like cameras, I'm sure that the difference is a matter of opinion as far as what's best when you use one among the best.
