Keep the R7, say for those who don't want all the bells and whistles- since going back to a basic like the SL or SL2 wouldn't be practical since they probably got rid of the tooling.And as well, offer an unadorned M6 with just metering, and a line of the basic lenses in the older formulae ( Nothing wrong with them- I use 'em all the time!) Even Hasselblad is doing this; they have the 501CM, which is very much like the 500C and 500CM, as well as a budget line of lenses which I read are quite up to par with a lot of the older ones, but made with more modern materials (Plastics) We can only wait and see, alas.
