Dear Daniele,
That was my first response when I got my first roll back as well. What is
extraordiary about the lens is its ability to render images taken it very low
light as though there really was plenty of illumination! Color rendition and
contrast are excellent. I just took a couple rolls of my old friends at our
annual dinner get together which we do every year at the annual meetings of
the American Society of Ciminology. The scene was a dimly lit room at Cafe
Nola in DC. I used no flash to the amazement of my buddies. Several of them
used flash (two of them are avid photographers) with the predictable results.
My shots, however, maintained the atmosphere of the room and the evening. They
are simple photos taken for us and our memories, but they are also delightful
to look at - there is so much more there than flash shots convey.
Best regards,
Bob Figlio
