Martin-
I am sure there will be a full range of opinions, but right now, while I am
having the Summarit-M CLA'd and the front element recoated, I am using a
Summitar and adapter on my M3- Not a bad lens- If you get a IIIc, it will be
right at home! Personally, if you get a IIIa like I did, the %cm/3,5 Elmar
is more appropriate!- I just did some prints from the Elmar last night, and
was pleasantly surprised at the contrast and sharpness. Granted- these were
just 4x6 prints I made at work, but the Summitar and Elmar are seriously
under rated... Which means you can get them kinda cheap! I can't comment on
the Summar- haven't gotten one...yet!
Enjoy!
