Subject: [Leica] Batteries--Newbie question

Hello all,

Was in a local camera store today to buy back-up batteries for my M6.  
The man tried to sell me 2 1.55 volt, saying it was just the same as 1.5. 
 It seemed a little larger to me.  So I went over to CVS and bought a 
single 3-volt (instead of 2 1.5's).

Are 1.5's and 1.55's interchangeable????
