Why is it necessary to put 120 film through the x-ray machine? Does
it set off the alarm when walking through with it in your pockets? If
so why? Isn't it all on plastic spools these days, unlike the metal
cassettes of 35 mm film? Or does the foil packaging set off the
alarm? If this is the problem I suppose it could be taken out of the
packet beforehand. Has anyone got any practical experience of this?
