Hi,

My original message is on my home PC, but in a nutshell, I concluded that the
Minilux has really bad ergonomics for someone (like me) who likes to use the
manual control (such as manual aperture setting or exposure compensation). For
instance, to turn the flash off, you have to press a tiny button 7 times while
cycling through the various flash modes. To set exposure compensation, you
depress an equally tiny button for 3 seconds and then press it repeatedly until
you arrive at the desired amount. In addition, there are other small
annoyanced: no shutter speeds in the viewfinder, the flash setting is not saved
when you turn off the camera etc.

I concluded that the Minilux is great if the 40mm focal length is right for you
and if you take most of your pictures in the auto-everything mode. But for me,
the 28mm lens of the Ricoh GR1 is better, and the ergonomics of that camera are
far superior.
