There is no one "best" paper. Some people prefer cold tones; for them the cold tone looking papers are the best. Others prefer neutral or warm, and on and on. Even then, certain papers handle tonal ranges differenty than others. Some papers seem to work best with certain films. Some sunjects seem to work best with certain papers. There are a lot of personal preferences involved here. Ask a dozen photographers this question, and you will likely get a dozen different answers. Dan C.
