I've been using the 28 Elmarit-R on an SL/2 w/split image viewfinder for 21
years.  I've never had a problem focusing this combination even in light so low
that the exposure was 1 second at f/2.8 w/K25.

BTW, this is a great lens.  I only wish it was a 24 rather than a 28.
