there where lots of interesting solutions about the problem "no power
switch on m6 cameras & self-firing in the camera bag" posted here.

this is mine: if i've enough space in the camera bag, i have a place
for the M6 standig upwards in the bag with enough space over it (over
the release button). if the bag is stuffed (not enough space), i had
success with wraping the camera-strap arround the camera, that the
stiff neck-piece forms something like a protection-shield over the
release button. so i don't need any extra equipment to protect the
button from "self firing". this simple "protection" is removed fast
and automatically, when i pull the camera out of the bag.

i'm one of them, who advocate the habit of "cocked shutters" - to be
ready. for that, setting the speed-dial to "B" is no solution for me.
and: i don't realy miss an "on-off-switch".

as i know, the suggestion "the shutter must be uncocked while storing
the camera" does'nt apply anymore since some decades for 35-cameras.
it was (as i know) a suggestion for technology like compur-shutters.

"cosi fan tutte" & cheers, thomas
