It provides a very nice view, even when wearing sunglases. The down side is having to focus throught the canera's viewfinder, and then switch to the other viewfinder. However, this quickly becomes automatic, and with a 35mm lens focus is usually not so critical. One warning is to be sure any of the older 35mm lenses are clean on the inside. Mine was quite cloudy and had to be sent out for cleaning. But for the kin dof uses you describe it makes a very nice kit. Joe Stephenson - -----Original Message----- From: Roger L. For many years I have used a M3 with 50mm Summilux along with several SLRs. I've love operational ease of the M3 (best) and it is the camera that I choose most readily, but must rely on my SLRs for lens versatility. However, I've always wanted a 35mm lens for my M3, especially when traveling or exploring large cities (densely inhabited regions). > >In a few weeks I'll have a renewed need for the 35mm during some buisiness trips and travels.
