Is this a Leica item, or something >generic one uses with a variety of cameras? Thanks! Eric It is indeed a Leica item. I had my local Leica dealer order it for me. I use a -2.0 correction. The part number is 14358. They come in a variety of strengths, both plus and minus diopters. Mine cost about $65 and screws directly into the back of the original viewfinder. It add all of about 1/8" to the depth and nothing to the weight, but it gives me the ability to see edge to edge within the finder.
