Just telling you what I heard. Silverfast came bundled with my Nikon scanner, and as far as I know it's bundled with all the new ones - for Europe at least. It is by far the best of all the scanning programs - very sophisticated, but easy for a tyro like me to use. I was so impressed that I got Silverfast software for my Microtek E6 flatbed scanner as well. Superior to Scanwizard, and operates in exactly the same way as for the Nikon. They do it for a lot of other scanners too. Their website: http://www.lasersoft.de/ Nice people to deal with too - I had a few extension conflict problems on my Mac which they sorted out quickly and for free.
