The B1 is a gem, though a slightly flawed one, as I find the pan knob to be
kind of poorly thought out, and the QR release knob will clash against the
base of the head if left loose during transit. The B1 works well with the M,
but is best suited for a heavier camera such as the Hasselblad.

Really Right Stuff's M plate is very well made, but takes some getting used
to, as it seems rather large. I think of it as armor plating, far more
useful than the adhesive plastic sheet.
