Referring to the Contax G2 literature for comparison you will find that in=
 order 
to achieve the 1/200th flash sync speed a vertical run multi-leaf shutter =
was 
employed. Since there is no reflex mirror diverting and protecting this sh=
utter 
from continuous exposure (as in SLR implementations) they have employed 
a secondary shutter in order to eliminate light leakage through the primar=
y 
shutter leaves.
