Just a quick thought, when I purchesed an M6 it was for many reasons,
one of which was its ablity to be hand held in most situations. Does TTL
for this camera seem a little like a trailer hitch on a Porshe. Sure it
works, but it kinda defeats the purpose.

How's it defeat the purpose? It was lack of any flash compatibility that 
prompted me in part to sell my M6. we live in a color world now and any 
added perk in this arena is helpful. I agree that too much technology is 
exactly what the M user and the M models oppose and rightly so, but the 
addition of a nice portable TTL balanced unit is heartily welcomed.
