Has anyone out there had the chance to spend a significant period using
the new(ish) Tri-Elmar? I've read Erwin's review, and seen a few notes
here about inconsistency in mechanical quality... but it still seems
like a _really_ appealing lens in certain situations, especially if one
had a summilux or noctilux on hand for low-light situations.  

So how does it actually *work* in day-to-day use?
