Contrary to what "you" ;-) writes - there is no 800mm f:8 Telyt-S
 There is however a 800/8 RF Rokkor-X --------------------------
 and a Leitz Wetzlar 800mm / f:6.3 Telyt-S

The "S" stands for the SPECIAL Glass that Leitz developed.
This massive 6.8 kilo lens was to be used at 1972 Olympics
which Ted Grant can probably tell us more about.

 I have only seen 2 for sale under $10,000 (7K & 8.5K) but
that includes gun sights & a custom welsh skin carryng case.
