Bruce, I just sold what I think would qualify as an Ex- (dinged, bent rewind
knob) M4 to Mac Camera for $700. This was the best I was able to get. Were I
to buy another, I'd try to get a less worn one for no more than $850 or so.
I'd ask around the LUG, at swap meets and so forth. Mint M4s are overpriced.

I realize the M4 is supposed to be near the top of the heap in terms of fine
craftsmanship, but do I really care that it's shutter and viewfinder have
more elaborate provisions for adjustment, when my M6 has no alignment
problems? Or that it had lovely engraving, whereas the M6 has a stouter top
cover, winder couplings and a TTL meter? What I miss from the M4 is it's
rewind knob (easier to grasp) but that's about it.

For a time, I thought I'd keep the M4 as the second body, but since getting
the M6, now simply want another M6 :-)

Jeff
