The problem is not with the older ("fat") Tele-Elmarit, but with the newer
("skinny") lens.  It is uncommon, but not rare, and the easiest fix is to
replace the rear elements, which is rarely a wise move financially.

Still, this is a lens to die for.  It is demure, sweet, and a grand performer.
