Just learned that Leica AG is so taken with the Softrelease that
negotiations are underway for a variety of special editions, Pandas,
titanium, Gold Anniversary, sharkskin.  Congratulations, Tom!

It is rumored that the Leica dinner at this year's Photokina may include the
auctioning of a signed, one of a kind, black HCB initialled model.  The
autograph model was dumped because the master couldn't get his entire
signature on one.
