A tripod hole adapter screws into the 3/8 inch hole on your M3 and has a
1/4 inch hole in it for the tripod.  Used to cost about $1.  Marshall

Nathan Wajsman questioned:
The tripod hole on the M3 is wider than on the M6 or on my SLRs, so I
cannot mount it on my Bogen tripod. What are the common solutions to
this problem?
