Gerald,

I general I believe it's possible. I think the best bet is to ask Leica
about a specific lens.

I did note on the spec sheet for the new  50mm f/1.4 R lens it said to
contact Leica about fitting to the SL and Leicaflex.  The indication
being that it's possible.
